The third IPA CARE Steering Committee was held 12th November 2025, in Skopje, North Macedonia to discuss progress, challenges and recommendations for the way forward.
Progress observed and challenges discussed at the IPA CARE Steering Committe in Skopje
The steering committee meeting provided an important opportunity to share and discuss progress and challenges highlighted by programme partners of Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Türkiye, EU ECHO, DSU, DPC, CPD, EUCENTRE, WHO, Karolinska Institute and MSB. Important progress was observed as the intervention has shifted from inception to full implementation, with action plans agreed and implemented by all partners. The need to further enhance capacities and inter-institutional and regional cooperation as well as to prepare partners for active participation in the Union Civil Protection Mechanism was emphasised.
